【1】Zengwun Reservoir Scenic Area /

Zengwun Reservoir Scenic Area
Zengwun Reservoir is the largest reservoir in Taiwan. With mists and ripples on the lake and mountains reflected on water, the scenery here is magnificent and pretty. This area maps out ten tourist spots including administration area, Waterside recreation area, Papaya Garden resort, Dam scenic Area, lakeshore villas, etc.

Drive/Hsinying Intersection → Gueizaigang → Lioujia → Road 174 → Zengwun Reservoir.

* Drive/Yungkang Intersection → Hsinshih → Road 177 → Hsinhua → the 20th Taiwan Provincial Road →Zuochen → the 20th Taiwan Provincial Road → Yuching → the 20th Taiwan Provincial Road → Nanhsi → Road 174 → Zengwun Reservoir.

Public transpiration/Hsingnan Bus: Tainan → Yungkang → Hsinshih → Zuochen → Yuching → Nanhsi → Zengwun Reservoir.

* 【2】 Nanhsi Town Fruit Family/ *
Nanhsi Town Fruit Family

The total area in the “Fruit Family” is 14 hectares. Main facilities include:Cafeteria: The cafeteria provides year-round seasonal fruit meal. Currently the fruit meal menu contains more than 50 dishes. With diversified, distinctive dishes and reasonable price , the fruit meal here sets up a good fruit meal example in Taiwan.
Fruit Farm Demonstration Area: This area demonstrates management of orchards, fruit growing patterns and picking of fruits.
Camp Area: This area is 2000 ping (1 ping=3.3 square meters); only for diners.
Mahogany Forest Trial: Area measures 10 hectares. The mahogany forest is averaged 50 years old and is preserved very well.
Water Area: The water area is for summer use.

Little Putuoshan
   The Little Putuoshan is located in front of the Zengwun Reservoir in NanhsiTown, TainanCounty.In the garden, there are 24 unique scenery spots built of natural rocks where visitors can see the wonder of the universe.Surrounded by hills, the NanhsiTown is a beautiful and attractive place. Various kinds of fruits are also produced year round.The nearby Zoumalai Leisure Farm, Chiayi Farm, and the Little Putuoshan are also hot tourist spots .

* 【4】Meilin / *
Meilin
Located at the WanciouVillage in NanhsiTown, the Meilin is one of the biggest Flowering Apricot Cultivation Area in Taiwan. With 700 meters altitudes, looking into far distances on the top of Meilin is able to see surrounding mountains. In the north, the Zengwun Reservoir is lean against Mt.Jhuzihjian with joint mountain peaks, and the Nanhua Reservoir is behind the mountains. Taking a far view to the south is able to see a wide landscape with Yu-NanBasin and the famous A-La River Waterfalls Area.

* Drive/Exit Tanei Intersection of the 2nd Southern Highway, connect to the 84th Taiwan Provincial Road toward Yuching direction, change to the 3rd Taiwan Provincial Road at Yuching toward Nanhsi direction, pass through Lutaoyang and drive about 800 meters, turn right the Meilin Scenic Area can be seen.   
* Public transportation/Take the Hsingnan Bus at Taiwan Railway Station in the direction to Yuching and Nanhsi, transfer to the bus at Siangjiaoshan, and get off at Meilin Station.
* 【5】 Jiang's Historical House / *
Jiang's Historical House
Located between Tainan Yuching and NanhsiVillage, the Jiang's Historical House is the largest and well-preserved traditional southern Fukien Province-styled farm village, which was grouped by only one family name. Village area is 3 hectares and has been built for 300 years already. Houses were built mainly by bricks and roofed with red tiles. At this moment, you can still see architectures such as mud-cornered house, bamboo weaving house and gravel-built houses there. Jiang's Historical House basically was constructed to a three-section compound, called "San-Ho-Yuan" in Chinese. With mountains behind it and half-moon shaped lotus pond in front, the geography of Jiang's House is more than better. Date of activity: The Cultural and Artifacts Exhibition in Lutaoyang Jiang's Historical House in NanhsiTown is held in January and February every year.

Drive: Exit Sun Yat-Sen Highway at Yungkang Intersection, take Road 177 Jia southbound, connect to the 20th Taiwan Provincial Road toward Hsinhua direction and go along the road to see the village.

Drive: Exit National Highway 3 to Guantian the 84th Taiwan Provincial Road, exit to Yuchingduan, follow the 3rd Taiwan Provincial Road toward north, and turn rught at the Lutian Police Station to enter the village.

* 【6】Yushan Baoguang Temple / *
Yushan Baoguang Temple
 Located in Yushan Village, Nanhua Town, the Baoguang Temple is the headquarter of I-Kuan-Tao「Baoguang Yushan Division」. Wuji Buddha is the primary character the temple worships and the other characters including Guangong, Jigong, Immortal Lyu Dong-Bin, Sakyamuni Buddha, Laozih, Confucius, etc are also cherished here. With the Northern Chinese style architecture, the temple is not only a religious center for I-Kuan-Tao but also a famous artistic architecture. Despite the marvelous embossments, there are 18 sightseeing spots such as Sanbao Pool, ScenicBuilding, Wuji Tianmu Hall, JingdeMemorial Park … etc; all spots come with different stories. * 【7】Wushan Macaca Cyclopis (Swinhoe) Conservation Area. / *
Wushan Macaca Cyclopis (Swinhoe) Conservation Area
Wushan Macaca Cyclopis (Swinhoe) Conservation Area is located at a 750-meter height mountain area in NanhuaTown, TainanCounty. There are more than hundreds of Macaca Cyclopis (Swinhoe) living here and evolving to a special habitat. For protecting the wild Macaca Cyclopis (Swinhoe), the county government developed one area for tourists with no admission charge. This Conservation Area is at about 500 meters above the sea level and gathering about 40 to 50 Macaca Cyclopis (Swinhoe). The monkeys have become semi-wild animals as a result of long-term feedings by human. Monkeys usually group in larger numbers during the non-fruit seasons. They like to come out and look for foods in the early morning. However, those monkeys are still wild animals after all, tourists should be careful not to provoke them while feeding to avoid attacked by monkeys.

* Drive:/Exit Sun Yat-Sen Highway at Yungkang Intersection, drive along The 1stTaiwan Provincial Road or Road 177 Jia, connect to The 20thTaiwan Provincial Road pass through Hsinhua to Zuochen, change to The 20thYi Taiwan Provincial Road in Zuochen to Nanhua, and make a right turn to enter into The 3rdTaiwan Provincial Road. You can either enter the mountain from Jinmaliao entrance or you can take the country road to ZihchuTemple and walk.
* Train/Take Hsinnan Bus near the Tainan Railway Station toward Nanhua, get off the Bus in Nanhua and ask a taxi to drive you there.
